Job Description

As a Learning and Development Lead, you’ll help to build, run, and maintain high quality learning programs and events for the Google Operations Center (GOC) employees including manager & leaders. You’ll act as a central project manager overseeing everything from communications to budget to event management, ensuring that the programs are delivered seamlessly and achieve their learning impact.

Position Responsibilities

  • Design and develop the overall L&D strategy for Google Operations Center beyond onboarding
  • Conduct training needs analysis in conjunction with relevant HR partners to understand learning needs of the organization
  • Engage with relevant partners, stakeholders, and vendors in designing and developing appropriate training programs for the company as best suited to address specific needs
  • Design the appropriate delivery strategy in conjunction with a team of L&D specialists
  • Ensure the programs are designed for maximum efficiency, effectiveness and user experience - make changes as needed to achieve high levels of each.
  • Facilitate specific programs for target audience as required.
  • Manage vendor and client relationships including rigorous management of budget and contracts.
  • Manage program communications to leaders, HR, program stakeholders, etc.
  • Influence and collaborate with the rest of the team (learning designers, program managers) to implement and/or optimize changes to core operations.
  • Manage onsite delivery of the programs
  • Partner with the relevant teams to ensure the learning management system needs are met as required

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts concisely and clearly.
  • Bachelor’s Degree holder from an accredited institution
  • 10-12+ years of relevant Learning and Development experience
  • Work experience in BPO and/or captive service organizations
  • Proven excellence at leading complex operational projects, including understanding project management approaches, tools and phases.

  • Highly developed influencing and stakeholder management skills.
