Job Description

  • The General Manager (GM) serves as the chief executive of Robocash Finance Corp. (RFC) and, in partnership with the Board, is responsible for the success of the company
  • He plays a key role in creating and implementing the strategic objectives of the company
  • He is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company
  • Meets the milestones identified in the company’s business plan.
  • Conveys a professional and positive image and attitude regarding Robocash Finance Corp.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to his continued professional growth and development.

Accountabilities:

Compliance

  • Assures compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements of the local government, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Credit Information Corporation (CIC), banks with whom the company has open lines of credit, and other regulatory bodies as are relevant
  • Ensure that the proper structure for monitoring and implementing the company’s compliance obligations are in place

Policy-making and Planning

  • Assists the Board in crafting the company’s short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals through an in-depth analysis of the Threats and Opportunities in the market and gives recommendations on the appropriate course of action in the context of the company’s Strengths and Weaknesses
  • Recommends policy positions that can enhance the company’s operational efficiency and mitigate its risks.

Management and Administration

  • Provides general oversight of the company’s day-to-day activities, ensuring an efficiently functioning organization.
  • Implements the policies and strategies created by the Board to achieve the company’s financial and operating goals and objectives.
  • With HR, creates and develops Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance Management, Employee Engagement and Retention programs
  • Helps design an organizational structure that enables effective execution of the Company’s strategies.

Governance

  • Helps the Board in the creation of the various governance committees, their charters, and the maintenance and implementation of their respective mandates
  • Facilitates the Board’s due diligence process on internal audit concerns
  • Helps foster a collaborative environment where committee members are encouraged to share industry knowledge, expertise, and global best practices

Financing

  • Promotes financial prudence while maintaining a high level of quality in the delivery of its products and services.
  • Evaluate trends in the company’s financial condition
  • With the Finance Team, reviews the budgets of all departments, ensuring the reasonableness of the assumptions, the quality of projections, and accuracy of the short-term and medium-term forecasts articulated.
  • Works with Board and the Finance Team in creating cash management strategies supportive of the company’s short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree, Post Graduate Diploma/Master's Degree, Doctorate (PhD) in any field.
  • Required language(s): English
  • At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in credit cards, personal lending, payment systems and business development is required in this position.
  • Candidate must be proactive and responsible.
  • Preferably CEO/SVP/AVP/VP/Director specialized in Corporate Strategy/Top Management or equivalent.
