IT Manager - Mobile/UI  

The IT Manager for Mobile/UI will lead a team of 3 to 5 developers in charge of User Interface and Mobile Development. This is vital for the development and innovation of goFLUENT SaaS platform used by its Fortune 500 clients.

In order to sustain the growth, we want to deliver new products, features, and continuous improvements to our platform, therefore, goFLUENT is looking for an IT Manager who will lead the team for pioneering exceptional user interfaces for both desktop and mobile platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The Manager, who will report to our IT Development Director, will be in charge of:
• Managing a team of 3 to 5 front-end and mobile developers (including but not limited to management, training, and recruitment);
• Collaborating closely with Product Managers based in Europe and Asia;
• Analysis and understanding business requirements and functional specifications to be delegated to a team of developers;
• Creating related project documentation and processes;
• Implementing development standards and best-practices;
• Managing career development of team members;
• Being up to date and informed on new technologies in different platforms as well as updates for existing technologies;
• Strategizing technical plans and approaches for implementation.

Experience:

• At least three (3) years experience in IT managerial position;
• At least one (1) year experience in IT Project management with direct contact to clients (internal or external);
• Technical background and good knowledge of either Java, .Net, Mobile or Frontend technology (PhoneGap, Node.js, JavaScript, and the like...) is required;
• Experience in working on projects following Agile Methodologies;
• Basic knowledge in front-end and/or mobile development life-cycle, deployment, and publishing (AppStore and Google Play).
