Job Description

The Digital Content and Social Media Administrator will work with a team of content creators, salesforce specialists, web developers, and graphic designers to reach B2B audience through powerful digital marketing campaigns and social media presence. He/She will be the point person for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of the company’s digital presence through the use of analytics and reporting tools. He/She will be the main administrator for the company’s official social media accounts, google analytics, and other reporting tools necessary to capture the company’s digital performance.

As the digital content and social media administrator, he/she will be expected to:

  • Create strategies to increase online traffic to the company’s website and set and monitor benchmarks to meet;
  • Be the subject matter expert for SEO/SEM and Social Media Marketing;
  • Create solid and actionable strategies to improve global digital and social media presence of the company;
  • Optimize website and social media channels for SEO and usability;
  • Assist local marketing coordinators with their SEO strategy, and do demos/trainings on our SEO tools when needed;
  • Improve the user experience on the company’s website by working closely with content, tech, and design teams to enhance design, content, interface, and usability;
  • Manage the company blog site aligned with the strategy set by the content team;
  • Create and closely monitor the quarterly editorial calendar with the content team;
  • Manage the editorial calendar and ensure the timely release of blogs, infographics, eBooks, and all other digital content;
  • Create a reporting system and generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on the performance of digital content and marketing campaigns, SEO, and Social Media;
  • Evaluate competitor’s Digital Marketing strategies and create a quarterly assessment report to present to the marketing team;
  • Research new online media opportunities that could benefit the business and present case studies on why the company should consider maximizing the same opportunities;
  • Manage and maintain the internal marketing site to ensure all marketing outputs are communicated to internal stakeholders in a timely manner;
  • Work with the global and country coordinators and the content team in creating and conducting Webinars and similar online events;
  • Work with the content team in identifying industry-specific competitions and award-giving bodies, and facilitating the company’s submissions and entries to these competitions;
  • Closely work with Content and Tech teams to fix issues that may arise on the website, particularly for SEO-related issues;
  • Perform all other tasks identified by the content team and the global marketing coordinator related to digital content and social media administration.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BS, BA (four year degree), preferably in Business, Marketing or other Business-related subjects
  • Must demonstrate general knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and G-Suite (Gmail, Hangouts, Calendar, and Google+ for communication; Drive for storage; Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, and Sites for collaboration)
  • Has expert knowledge and solid foundations on Google Analytics, Social Media Analytics and Insights, and SEO tools (Moz, SEMrush)

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years experience in content writing, marketing tools (strong background in SEO), business insights reporting, and social media; a post-secondary education in marketing or related fields would be prefered;
  • Strong background in email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and marketing analytics.
  • Excellent understanding digital content strategies and B2B online marketing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and a desire to improve processes.
  • Excellent writer and communicator (in both the written and verbal form)
