JOB SUMMARY

The Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer will be responsible in determining operational objectives by studying business functions, business rules, SLA and gathering information from the client. He/She will also provide technical support to both external and internal clients to assure effective portal use for end users.

JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY

• Determines operational objectives by studying business functions, business rules, SLA, and gathering information from the client.
• Guides clients through a series of steps/actions, either face to face, or over the telephone to help resolve issues.
• Recommends control points by identifying problems; writes improved procedures.
• Provides references or guides for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; provides help desk support; train users..
• Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Searches for patterns of inefficiencies, defects, or other problems.
• Tests software applications with a strong understanding of user's/client's needs.
• Designs techniques in various platforms, including reporting of issues, bugs, and defects.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge.
• Designs and develops manual testing processes or testing approaches as follows:
  • Creating a Test Plan and Test case
  • Functional Testing, Reliability Testing,
  • Regression Testing and End to End Testing
  • Stress Testing, Load Testing, Bug Monitoring, Black Box Testing, and Adhoc Testing, Mobile Testing and etc

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer Telecommunication), Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Experience of at least 2 years in the related field is required for this position.
• Experience in the following:
  • Technical support, with strong analytical techniques in various platforms.
  • Test planning, test strategy, test plan and test case design techniques, and testing in various platforms.

  • End to End testing
  • Stress testing
  • Load testing
  • Bug monitoring
  • Black box Testing,

• Knowledge on MS-SQL and MY-SQL is a plus.
• Should have background in the following: relational databases, Web technology, and Troubleshooting.
• Must have good Communication skills (Oral and Written).
• Must be a Filipino Citizen or hold residence status
• Applicants must be willing to work in Eastwood, Quezon City.
