Job Description
- Manage the team’s efforts to choose, implement and document testing tools, strategies, plans, processes, standards, and framework.
- Ensure quality standards, procedures, methodologies and best practices are being observed, following Agile/Scrum methodology, using tools such as Jira
- Manage System Integration Testing project scope, schedule, cost, and delivery.
- Manage test case creation, test case execution and assign testers on the team to complete testing in the allocated time to provide adequate testing coverage.
- Manage the creation, publishing, and monitoring of test reports under system integration testing.
- Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and overall health.
- Reports directly to the VP, Technology
Minimum Qualifications
- With at least 5 years of proven experience in managing a team of Software Quality Engineers in a distributed environment and at least 10 years of experience in the Software QA industry
- Comfortable managing both functional (manual, automation) and non functional testing aspects of Software Quality Engineering for multiple applications
- Passionate about user-focused design, high-quality technology, and what can be done to improve it
- Proven track record demonstrating the ability to attract, hire, empower and develop the best engineers
- Ability to summarize key points and tie them back to the customer experience
- Ready to deep dive into technical areas when needed but also discuss these topics to a non-technical audience
- At ease working in a constantly evolving, dynamic environment and driving top issues to resolution
- Understands and practice a balanced approach to managing the team and the projects handled
- Highly organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results
