Software QA Tester (Manual)

• A QA Tester is someone that monitors every phase of the software development process to ensure design quality, making sure that the software adheres to the standards set by the development company. A QA Tester makes sure that new products work, that they run smoothly and that they meet client needs before they are released.
• Ultimately, the QA Tester should monitor all stages of software development to identify and help with the resolution of system malfunctions to meet the defined quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple tasks and can deliver output in an Agile environment
• Collaborate with all team members to provide quality check in all phases of the product development
• Highly analytical, can examine an issue and devise a solution. “Think-outside-the-box” attitude
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Very creative with negative and alternative scenarios.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate quality testing activities
• Participate in the review of product design documentation to ensure that requirements stated are understandable, unambiguous, and verifiable.
• Review quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Consult with product development to evaluate system interfaces, operational requirements, and performance requirements of overall system.
• Define test methods and create test plans for new or updated software projects to determine if the software will perform accurately and reliably according to documented requirements as well as established standards under both normal and abnormal conditions.
• Maintain effective communication with the project software engineers on project limitation, capability, performance requirement.
• Execute test plans and create test reports to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction.
• Implement best practices that facilitate data gathering and test execution methods
• Participate in risk management meetings
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
• Help develop and drive a Test Culture across the entire company, which includes following the Agile testing principles and continuously reviewing, implementing, and communicating process improvements and quality metrics to the team.
• Adept in Functional Testing, System Integration Testing, End to End Testing, Regression Testing,
• Familiarity with Performance Testing, Accessibility, Usability Testing, Security Testing is advantageous

• Must have at least Bachelor's degree
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in Manual Testing - Agile
• Must be willing to work in Eastwood City Libis Quezon City
