JavaScript Developer  

The JavaScript Developer should have an experience in ReactJS and integrating RESTful
APIs. Tasks include building reusable and robust codes, maintaining and improving
company and client websites, working closely with backend team in ensuring the quality
of the products and integrating APIs from multiple backend services.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• To integrate RESTful APIs
• To design and implement robust and reusable codes for future use
• To ensure that all user inputs are validated before submitting to backend
• To maintain and improve website
• To collaborate with backend developers and web designers to improve usability
• To write functional requirement documents, guides and specifications
• To contribute to technical growth of the team
• To help backend developers troubleshoot and fix ISS uses
• To maintain organization of frontend assets
• To ensure security of website
• To perform all other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time

• Must be a college graduate with a Bachelor’s degree on Computer
• Science/Information Technology, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Has at least 2-3 years work experience with JavaScript
• Has at least 3 years of experience with web development
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript
• Proficient understanding and experience in using front-end web technologies
• (HTML, CSS, and JQuery)
• Has experience in integrating front-end libraries especially ReactJS
• Has good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates
• and AJAX
• Proficient with UX principles
• Familiar with debugging tools and browser testing
• Familiar with content management systems
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (GIT, Sourcetree)
• Has understanding of web security
• Has the ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
• Has flexibility to adapt to changing requirements
• Comfortable in expressing thoughts and opinions
• Open to giving and receiving constructive criticisms
