Job Description

Responsibilities

Sales/Enrolments (80%)

  • Follow the sales process from beginning to end to ensure KPI’s are met on a consistent basis
  • Make the required call volume to increase opportunities of enrolments
  • Build customer rapport and represent a strong student focus ensuring each student is engaged and enrolled in the right course for their needs and desires
  • Ensure all interaction with potential students is professional and of a high standard
  • Follow Careers Australia approved compliance guidelines, sales methodology, and processes
  • Ensure students are enrolled correctly into SalesForce
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of Careers Australia Courses in order to promote and sell
  • Participate and engage in required training, coaching and performance management
  • Participate and engage in 1:1’s and meetings with leadership
  • Provide continuous feedback to improve TeleSales team performance and culture

Administration (10%)

  • 100% reporting of activities through Sales Force ensuring process is correctly adhered to
  • Enrolment of students through correct processes
  • Correctly use Dialer to make outbound calls to potential students and finalize call outcome within the Dialer
  • Post customer discussion reporting and feedback to ensure continuous improvement and optimal lead to sale conversion success
  • Ensure all students enrolled are transferred correctly to the Customer Service team to finalize students enrolment ready for them to commence study.

Other (10%)

  • Attend team events
  • Attend team meetings and presentations as required
  • Attend required training

Minimum Qualifications

Experience

  • 2-year sales/upselling experience (preferred, but not essential)
  • TeleSales/Contact Centre sales experience
  • Knowledge and expertise in sales and marketing, specifically following a professional sales process
  • Proven ability to engage and influence customers, to qualify leads and to close sales
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce.com (preferred, but not essential)
  • Proven customer service orientation
  • Proven ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to meet competing deadlines
  • Proven ability to operate exceptionally in a dynamic team environment

Knowledge

  • Professional sales skills; including needs-based selling, handling objections, overcoming skepticism and closing sales
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Pipeline management and building
  • Strong customer influencing ability
  • Problem solving
  • Professional manner
  • Attention to detail
  • Passion and enthusiasm for exceptional customer service
  • Basic – intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Knowledge of Registered Training Organization (RTO) industry (preferred, not essential)
