Job Description
Primarily responsible for the efficient and effective delivery of daily cashiering services, collection reconciliation, reports generation and records maintenance in compliance with the overall direction, policies and processes of AUTOHUB Group.
- Ensures efficient and effective daily cashiering services in compliance with prescribed policies, guidelines and standards on payment collection in AUTOHUB Group
- Ensures availability and security of cashier’s change fund and performs cash count twice daily
- Prepares advanced deposit slips for cash payments and check payments for vehicles which will be released within the day and reports all advanced deposits through email to Treasury Supervisor.
- Counts the contents of the cash register drawer and reconciles cash / check / credit card and debit card transactions at the end of shift
- Endorses all previous day cash / check payments and deposit slips to treasury messenger/collector for processing of bank deposits
- Encodes all transactions in the cashier’s database
- Ensures that all cashiering records are properly filed and maintained in compliance with the approved records management system
- Generates system generated reports and /or prepare reports based on prescribed template and timeline, reconciles data and submits the reports to treasury assistant for review and endorsement to Treasury Supervisor and Accounting Department
Minimum Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Accounting or any related course
- At least one year experience work related of Cashier
- Computer Literate and highly keen with details
- Trustworthy and diligent
