Job Description
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
- Work closely with UX designer to interpret wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc., into user interface elements and assets.
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
- Manage and maintain a library of design components.
- Be a great team player, experienced in working with agile teams. Ability to collaborate closely with developers.
- Continually keep yourself and your design team updated with the latest changes in industry’s standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Human-focused design mentality. Your design decisions are always based on user feedbacks, and while you have good taste for aesthetics, you know a good design is one that will solve the user’s problems.
- One or more years of experience and proven track record.
- Strong online portfolio (or in the form of PDF) that you can share with us. Link to document/website is preferred.
- Hands-on experience interpreting wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc., into user interface elements and assets.
- Experience using tools such as Photoshop, Sketch, InVision, UXPin, Quartz, and other designing tools.
- Understanding of basic front-end languages (HTML5, CSS3 Javascript) is a plus point.
- Experience working in an agile/scrum development process.
- Be open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it.
