Job Description
Network and Operations Center (NOC) Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company's computer networks and servers for problems, maintenances, and monitors. Helps in analyzing and solving technical problems. Performs troubleshooting and provides incident response on the system, communicate with site technicians and tracks issues through to resolutions.
- Ensuring operations of all network, server and software assets.
- Scheduling of deployment, maintenance, and management of Digital Assets.
- Receives and investigates technical issues raised through clients.
- Provides technical and hardware support for both internal and external clients.
- Monitors the performance of both network and systems currently installed in support of the operational requirements.
- Ensures configuration of the network hardware and software are monitored.
- Monitors and tests application performance for potential blockages.
- Identifies possible solutions and work with developers to implement fixes.
- Determines the root cause of the technical issues reported by clients.
- Performs triage and troubleshoots the problems.
- Coordinates with third-party providers, partners, suppliers, clients, and internal technical solutions team if needed to further analyze the issue as reported.
- Tracks all issues raised and sets critical issues as a priority.
- Proactively ensures the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
- Provide remote access support.
- Coordination with Sr. Research & Development Manager on schedule and turnover of projects that are going to be promoted to production and projects that are for decommissioning.
Minimum Qualifications
- Preferably at least 2-3 years of working experience in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database (Admin or equivalent is required for this position)
