Job Description

  • Conceptualize, implement, monitor, analyze and report strategic marketing
  • In Conceptualization:
    • Planning and conducting market research to identify opportunities for increased sales including new business opportunities.
    • Brand Awareness campagin for George Optical.
    • Negotiates contract terms with agencies and suppliers.
    • Communicate with advertising agencies on on-going campaigns.
    • Establishes and maintain consistent corporate image throughout product lines, promotional materials, and events.
    • Local Practice Marketing (LPM) activities.
    • Sales and Promotional activities including show window concepts and in-store displays (in coordination with Purchasing Dept).
    • Investigate, study, manage and approve events sponsorship, glossy ad, radio ads, newspaper ads and solicitation and its subsequent implementation and what will be aired.
    • Customer Service. Know what customers want so that you can come up with activities or events that are centered to customer needs. To monitor and continuously train front liners on customer service.
    • In new practice opening: Present to Immediate Superior marketing and demographic data analysis as well as creative marketing activities pre, during and post opening.
  • In Implementation
    • Plan and oversee execution of promotional activities including print, electronic media, trade show, direct mail, point of purchase displays and signage.
    • Distribution of promotional and collateral materials to support sales and marketing programs.
    • Execute sales meetings and community, goodwill events
    • Of tie-ups with cards such as Standard Chartered, Countdown and Xavier and ICAA Alumni cards.
  • In monitoring
    • Maintain customer database and approve the use of internal and external mailing lists.
    • Maintain and manage customer loyalty program - Optimeyes (for GOI) and Eye Am (for The Opticians)
  • In Analyzing and Reporting
    • Analyze marketing programs and adjust strategy and tactics to increase effectivesness;
    • Review analysis of marketing surveys on current and new product concepts in order to recommend future product devt.
    • Procide post-event reports (at least 15 days after), analysis, and regular status reports on marketing programs with objective of answering questions like "should we do this again?"; "did it help bring our sales up?"

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Marketing or equivalent.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • With experience specializing in Sales - Retail/General or equivalent.
  • Willing to work in Pasay City
  • Can start ASAP
