Event and Sales Associate  

What is the role?

As Event and Sales Associate, you will responsible for coordinating and managing events, including but not limited to searching for events, negotiating and finalizing agreements, organizing booth details, manning booths & enlisting volunteers, and ensuring the event runs smoothly. You will also be in charge of trade checks in stores where HOPE is available and conducting in-store promotions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Search for and coordinate details of events such as conferences, weddings, concerts, trade shows, sales meetings, business meetings, employee appreciation events, etc.
• Calculate budgets and ensure they are adhered to.
• Book transportation and other necessary components to running the event.
• Visit venue to plan layout of booth.
• Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Initiates, coordinates and/or participates in all efforts to publicize event.
• Man the booth during the event, or recruit and manage volunteers to help, depending on the size of the event.
• Ensure that the event runs smoothly.
• Prepare post-event evaluations and make recommendations.
• Keep inventory of backdrops, booth materials, tablets, and other materials.
• Visit stores where HOPE is available and track inventory and off-take.
• Conduct in-store promotions in retail stores and prepare the post promotion evaluation.

Work Hours:

Working hours are normally 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, weekend or evening working hours may be necessary to support events that run at night or weekends during a special sales promotion or to launch a new product or range. In where cases where it’s needed, work hours may be adjusted accordingly.
