Job Description
- Plan and facilitate meetings and introductions between business operators and ATs with the goal of establishing linkages for ATs receiving recyclables generated by the business establishment.
- Work with the CCBO SBC Team and project SBC Officer (as necessary) to plan and organize capacity-building training for ATs to enable them to conduct locally driven SBC Communication activities (such as small group discussions to teach and promote segregation of recyclables among households and negotiating an agreement for AT to be the drop-off / collector of accumulated recyclables)
- Liaise with relevant business and civic organizations to promote the business, identify possible opportunities for expanding ATs business in the locality, and help facilitate engagements with Aling Tindera.
- If needed, accompany ATs to liaise with barangay officials to obtain initial support, and when Aling Tinderas encounter challenges in the course of their business operations and market development activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have at least 1 year of relevant work experience in sustainability
- Experience in environmental sustainability or plastic processing projects is an advantage
- Ammenable to do fieldwork
- Strong attention to detail, able to multitask, ability to sell an idea
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and achieve results through collaborations
- Have strong database management and analytical skills
- Own transportation (motorcycle) is highly preferred
- Must share in Hope's shared mission of making plastic neutrality a reality
- High school graduates are welcome to apply
- Work arrangement will be a fixed-term (1 year)
