Accounting Associate  

As our Accounting Associate, you will be part of the shared services accounting team, reporting directly to the Group Finance & Accounting Manager. You will be responsible for our growing company's day-to-day financial and accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining book of accounts, including preparation of journal entries;
• Assisting in the preparation of complete financial statements, payroll computation, and timely preparation of bank reconciliation;
• Preparing end-to-end payroll activities;
• Monitoring of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable;
• Preparing tax computations and returns;
• Monitoring of monthly accruals and depreciation of fixed assets;
• Ensuring the company books are following the Philippine Financial Reporting Standard and/or International Financial Reporting Standards, whichever is applicable
• Implementing, maintaining, and improvement of internal financial controls and procedures;
• Physical inventory count as needed;
• Other areas include, but are not limited to, document verification, data entry operation, and administrative assistance.

We are looking for motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented individuals who also have a passion for the HOPE and PCX mission.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or Finance. CPA is an advantage but not required;
• Previous work experience related to accountancy, bookkeeping, payroll, or finance is an advantage;
• Experience in end-to-end payroll is an advantage
• A two-year working experience in a Shared Services set-up or an Accounting Outsourcing company with expertise in handling Singapore or US entities is an advantage but not required;
• Familiarity with tax and compliance matters in Singapore and US is an advantage;
