Job Description
- Responsible for the sourcing, negotiating, accrediting and purchasing of high-quality, low-value goods and services.
- Monitoring requirement and ensure proper execution of purchasing prices and documentation.as well as establishing and maintaining supplier relationship.
- Reports to the Vendor Management Officer and will be part of the Finance business unit.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Source new suppliers
- Process request for quotations
- Process request to purchase
- Create purchase order, compile rates from vendors and accurately and timely maintain Purchasing database
- Negotiate with suppliers
- Other tasks may be assigned as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- A graduate of any business-related courses
- 2-3 years of purchasing/procurement role (service industry is a plus)
- Must be adept in using MS Office suite
- Must have experienced managing stakeholders (internal and external)
- Must be resilient, highly analytic, results driven, a good negotiator, can work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and can work with minimal supervision
