Job Description

The HR Specialist is to handle compensation and benefits and timekeeping and payroll; is reporting to the HR Director

Task Objectives/Specific Duties:

  • Updating the payroll records when there are new hires and employees with changes in salary.
  • Monitoring the monthly submission of Representation Allowance liquidation reports of employees.
  • Requesting for the monthly payment for the contributions and loans in SSS, HDMF and PHIC. Posting and submission of reports in the government agencies
  • Requesting for payment for Health Care Insurance and Group Life Insurance
  • Enrolling regularized employees in Health Care Insurance and Group Life Insurance and deleting the resigned employees
  • Assisting the employees in availing statutory (SSS, HDMF and PHIC) and company benefits and privileges.
  • Scheduling and monitoring of Annual Physical Exam
  • Monitoring the leave credits of regular employees
  • Assisting resigning employees in processing their turnover (chain of custody) and clearance and releasing their final pay.
  • Monitoring daily attendance of employees including their overtime tardiness, leaves and absences
  • Computing employees’ salary and submitting the payroll in the bank for crediting
  • Computing 13th month pay and tax annualization
  • Computing resigned employees’ final pay and requesting for payment.
  • Processing of new hires’ bank account.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Academic: A graduate of Human Resources or Psychology
  • Experience: 3 years work experience
  • Skills:· Must be organized and detail-oriented.
    • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Must be able to work well independently but must also work as part of a team.
  • Has strong integrity and sense of responsibility
  • Trustworthy especially with ANY confidential information
  • Will not bend the rules for personal gains or peers
  • Maturity in professional and personal relations
  • Highly reliable and inspires trust, as an employee and as a human being
