Project Coordinator – General Manager  

GDS Asia is a software company installing systems into local and regional banks. This means running multiple projects in different banks at the same time. Each project has an individual owner. What GDS needs is a Project Coordinator that will supervise all projects across the business. This person will establish a business standard for how projects will be run. They will mentor the project leaders on how to run their respective projects. Overall, they are responsible for keeping projects on track and following agreed timelines and scope.

Responsibilities:

• Manage personnel and assign leaders and developers to the projects.
• Set up the framework for how projects will be run in the company.
• Work with project leaders to help estimate man-day requirements and project plans.
• Work with project leaders to help define client requirements and make sure they are documented properly.
• Teach the team proper project management practices and ensure they are being followed.
• Work with clients to hear their project goals and help set expectations.

• At least 10 years of hands-on project management experience.
• Active Scrum Master and completely trained in Agile project management methods.
• Very current, active experience with software project management.
• Background in coding or software engineering.
• Very current people management experience.
• Computer science degree preferred.
• Willing to work in the Makati area.
