Job Description
- Develop web-based systems and software applications
- Integrate developed apps and systems with the back-end data and structure
- Conduct tests for code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Collaborate with other teams throughout the entire development lifecycle
- Research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies for a more efficient development process and environment
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Fix bugs and optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability
- Perform other tasks related to the responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience on development
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or any related course
- Knowledge and experience in the following:
- Relational database systems; Object-Oriented Programming
- PHP (preferably v.7.x); JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS3
- AJAX, REST, SOAP; MVC Framework: CodeIgniter, Zend 2, Laravel
- AWS APIs (optional); Google APIs (optional)
- AWS Cloud Storage; MySQL, MS SQL
- Version Control (SVN, Git); Web programming tools: XAMPP, LAMP
- Front-end development; Back-end development
- Must have developed or taken part in the development of at least one successful web-based application
- Scrum experience and leadership potential
