Job Description
- Ensure availability and stability of the development and production environment
- Install, configure, deploy, and manage systems and software tools to help in monitoring and managing the infrastructure that supports the applications of the company
- Keep management and users informed by producing technical advisories, submitting performance reports, and communicating system status
- Participate in the conduct of technical researches and technology evaluation aimed at the continuous improvement of infrastructure and methodologies and in the delivery of such improvement
- Perform Level 2 client support for specific projects and provide on-site or remote technical support
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any related program
- At least 1-year experience with any system and/or network
- Required:
- Good understanding of Windows, Linux, OS, TCP/IP, and SQL
- Knowledge of at least one of the following scripting languages: Bash, Shell, Python
- Knowledge in the use and management of Redmine, NAS, SVN, GIT, WINSCP, and Putty
- Ability to create SQL queries for analysis and reporting
- Considered as advantage, but not required:
- Experience with debugging complex problems through configuration files, logs, and code pieces to determine source of failure
- Experience in cloud infrastructures such as AWS Cloud Architecture, Azure Cloud Architecture, and Google Cloud Architecture
- Knowledge in containers such as virtualenv and docker
- Willingness to be on call for urgent work demands and confidence to work under pressure
- Excellent skills in troubleshooting, problem solving, system administration, policy implementation
- Capability to work within a team and communicate well with different types of audience
