The Accounting Assistant is primarily responsible in monitoring, preparing and processing a wide variety of accounting documents such as invoices, cash receipts, journal vouchers, government remittances; prepares reports; compiles and reviews information for accuracy and maintains records. She performs activities in support of Accounting Department and provides assistance in a variety of administrative duties.
Minimum Qualifications
1. College Degree in Business Accountancy or its equivalent
2. Preferably a CPA
3. With a minimum of 1 year experience in Accounting, Audit or related field.
4. Experience working with an automated financial management system.
5. Computer literate and proficient and MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel)
6. With understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
7. Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgement, and to react with discretion under varying conditions.
8. With average oral and written communications, and interpersonal skills.
