Job Description

  • Identify, develop and qualify new business opportunities with new prospects based on account needs, budget and authority in a timeframe in order to achieve and exceed quota.
  • Generate opportunities from a list of target accounts within an assigned territory / region by calling direct on target accounts as well as responding to inbound leads.
  • Generate leads through various outbound methods, mainly cold-calling and emailing contacts from assigned data sheets. Pass qualified opportunities through to sales account executives within territories
  • Work jointly with the Sales Executives and Marketing teams to develop a territory plan to meet and exceed the field sales quota.
  • Quickly follow up on, qualify, and process inbound leads that come from website, events, trade shows, referrals, etc.
  • Support marketing events by reaching out to attendees/prospects before the event to make them aware of client's presence as well as following up after the events to convert leads to qualified status and/or set appointments.
  • Track and manage prospecting, qualification and overall account specific activities in Salesforce on a comprehensive and timely basis.
  • Make daily contact (email, call, social) to evaluate each lead’s goals, status in the buying process, and purchasing power; nurture leads to ensure they are: fully aware of client's capabilities, interested in consulting with one of sales professionals, & qualified opportunities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidate must have 4 years of overall work experience comprised of:
    • At least 2 years of Sales Support, Inside Sales or Lead Generation experience
    • At least 2 years of solid Business-to-Business Sales Experience
    • Between 1 to 3 years outbound cold calling sales experience in any software provider industry
    • Between 1 to 2 years of contact center experience (sales program/account management/sales/lead generation/retention/acquisition/etc.)
  • Should have experience in marketing cold-calling, prospecting, and/or pre-sales experience preferred
  • Must be willing to work in Ortigas Center Pasig City
  • Should have an understanding of the enterprise software sales and software as a service (SaaS)
  • It should be highly organized and the ability to track activities, opportunities and contacts within a customer relationship management system (CRM) daily.
  • Should have the ability to self-start and independently initiate new opportunities.
  • Should have demonstrated the ability to function effectively both independently and within a team/matrix
  • Should have strong and effective written and verbal communication skills to communicate with colleagues, prospects, and clients
  • Should demonstrate strong, active listening and follow-up skills.
  • Must have strong computer skills and the ability to navigate through multiple systems without assistance.
  • Good to have an exposure in programs like with SalesForce.com or other customer relationship management software.
  • Good to have a knowledge in compliance risk management.
  • Must be willing to work in Ortigas Center Pasig city
