What’s on the menu for you?

The role requires to drive Strategy, Growth & Operations for the fresh and frozen category portfolio at PandaMart (Groceries vertical at foodpanda)

What does the role entail?

• Category Captainship
  • Sole accountability for the PnL of the entire Fresh & Frozen Portfolio
  • Principal buyer of all categories and inventory controller.
  • Pioneer in development of categories (product mix) to grow business units and add value to overall platform
• Store / Category / WH Operations
  • Manage national and local suppliers/vendors ensuring top assortment and platform availability for the category
  • Drive high product quality through suppliers and best-in-class store excellence to uplift all quality/consumer metrics
  • Design and execute marketing campaigns on and off the platform
• Partner to the business
  • Closely collaborate with multiple stakeholders in the organization - commercial / finance / operations / demand planning to steer your business units forward

What do you bring into the table?

• 4-7 years of experience in the retail / e-commerce industry in commercial operations
• Prior experience in managing fresh category portfolio such as fruits, vegetables, meat, bakery, etc. with sound industry knowledge is a must
• Prior experience in buying / category management / store operations / sales or key account management
• Experienced in managing and dealing with suppliers / vendors / partners for mutual business growth
• Comfortable to personally supervise supply & operations end-to-end: farm to fork.
• Highly analytical and structured thinking with attention to detail. Proficient with all MS applications.
• Intrapreneur with a growth mindset - Open to getting your hands dirty to get the job done. Experience in working in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
