This doesn't happen without our awesome people. We are looking for a Facilities Management Specialist to join our Pandamart team!
What’s on the menu to do:
- Monitor condition of warehouses and any physical assets. With the help of warehouse managers, perform site assessment, coordinate regular maintenance, necessary repairs, replacements or any form of rectifications.
- Together w/ other relevant units, ensure all the necessary licenses (licensing/rental/office space) and all paperwork associated with company licencing/documentation/registrations are accomplished & maintained in a timely manner
- Work w/ various internal & external teams to ensure new stores are set up in accordance w/ New verticals guidelines & project timelines.
- Coordinate w/ relevant foodpanda & external teams on providing technical assistance to any facility related issue. May coordinate w/ third party vendors (engineers, electricians, etc.) depending on the need arises.
- Work w/ foodpanda procurement team to ensure completion of New verticals procurement related initiatives
- Provide input for continuous improvement of New Verticals procurement processes and procedures.
- Work w/ finance & accounting team w/ regards to ensuring timely payment processing of utilities, rentals & additional related expenses. In addition, monitoring & working w/ the respective warehouse managers in finding ways to optimize cost
What do you bring to the table?
- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related discipline.
- Approx. 2-4 years of relevant procurement & facilities management experience in line with the responsibilities stated above.
- Background in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up/technology environments would be a plus.
- Strong communication and people skills
- Results oriented and metrics driven, with very good communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people across all organisational levels.
- Willing to travel around various warehouses, on a as needed basis.
