1. Treasury Assistant Tasks

1. Checking of remittances

• Verify the cash and checks on the Collection Report and start counting cash or checks payment witnessed by the designated witness.
• Ensure amounts in the safe are balance all the times.
• Advise deposited online payments of BDO Account to Accounts Payable

2.2 Preparation of checks

• Route all Accounts Payable check vouchers and ensures that checks are signed by the authorized signatories on a timely manner

2.3 Schedule of check for release and replenishment.

2.4 Safekeeping of undeposited checks and bank forms.

2.5 Prepares documents for dollar purchase for telegraphic transfer (Importation Payments)

3. Petty Cash Handling

• Disburse petty cash only on the basis of properly authorized documentation

• Balance petty cash issued with Accounts payable & Accounting Supervisor
• Liquidation and requisition of Petty Cash

4. Record Management

• Maintain a log of Petty Cash Vouchers and Receipt book
• Manual recording of expenses for suppliers and importation both local and international

5. Other Tasks

• Conduct bank investigation of customers
• Issue Acknowledgement Receipt

Job Specifications:

Education: College or Bachelor’s Degree of Finance, Accountancy, Banking, Business Studies, Management or equivalent

Experience: At least two year working experience in the related field

Qualifications: Good communication and interpersonal skills, proficient in MS Office, Familiar with Accounting System
