Supply Chain Assistant  

Operational Administration

1. Works across suppliers as well as our own organization, to ensure the successful execution and implementation of standard operating procedures
2. Provides relevant product and/or vendor information by ensuring the accuracy of the information entered into and maintained by the system (e.g. prices, discounts, rebates, shelf life, barcodes).
3. Provides and maintains accurate, complete and timely documents / reports to Accounting and ensures tracking of documents with external parties
4. Maintains good credit standing by ensuring that all vendor (Local and International) unsettled balances, either receivables from or payables to, are settled on time / the soonest time possible
5. Prepare and monitor payments for suppliers/vendors
6. Ensures that returns (bad orders, good stocks) are retrieved the soonest time possible and report issues with shipments to Supply Chain Manager
7. Assist Supply Chain Manager with Regulatory Requirements (e.g. declaration, clearances, licenses, etc.)

Inventory Management

1. Fulfills expected Customer Service Level by working across the vendors as well as our own organization to streamline and strengthen the supply chain
2. Maintains optimum inventory level by keeping the right reorder point / days supply at all times following reordering process guidelines strictly in coordination with Warehouse Coordinator / Inventory Clerk
3. Studies turnover trend to meet fluctuations in demand and forecasts as needed
4. Provides workable alternatives to existing ordering process guidelines to improve results achievement

Job Specifications:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree of Finance, Accountancy, Business Studies, Management or equivalent

Experience: At least 1 year working experience in the related field. Advance knowledge in importation and customs is an advantage.

Qualifications: Good communication and interpersonal skills, Proficient in Microsoft Office, Negotiation Skills
