Job Description
The Facilities & Building Administration Supervisor shall perform a variety of tasks and responsibilities pertaining to the strategic and operational management of all the company’s buildings and facilities in order to ensure the proper and efficient operation of all its physical aspects and for the creation and sustenance of a safe and productive work environment.
The duties and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Ensure the delivery of services to operate and maintain company properties including any designated financial, technical, maintenance and procurement tasks.
- Manage facility operations : electrical, engineering, plumbing, air conditioning, safety and security, equipment, housekeeping, administration, and finance.
- Ensure that all facilities meet proper government regulations on business, environmental, health and security standards.
- Planning and overseeing building work and renovation.
- Manage cleanliness and upkeep of all building facilities and premises.
- Initiate quality improvement programs to improve facilities.
- Establish efficient problem reporting, escalations, and complaint management.
- Prepare an annual and monthly Predictive and Preventive schedule for all facilities including financial details and analysis.
- Plan and prepare monthly reports required for maintaining office infrastructure and facilities.
- Assist the department in project management and cost optimization.
- Negotiate contractor and service quotations.
- Ensure proper records are maintained of all projects.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidate must meet the following qualifications:
- A graduate of BS Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a reputable university.
- Licensed Engineer (CE, ME, EE or any equivalent field).
- Highly Knowledgeable in construction, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning and telephone system maintenance and installation.
- With supervisory experience for at least 2 years in a corporate building and facilities administration setting.
- Team player with good communication and feedback skills.
- Pro-active attitude and constantly strive to improve work efficiency.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent supervisory skills to continuously develop team’ performance.
