Job Description

The Sales Manager assumes responsibility for effectively managing activities of the Sales team, and ensuring achievement of sales targets to include to the following:

  • Develops, implements and monitors the achievement of the annual sales plan
  • Ensures reactivation of dormant accounts, grows existing active accounts and develops new dealers
  • In coordination with Marketing, gives recommendation and reliable data on pricing strategies, competitor monitoring, product development and terms of payment
  • Monitors and assures achievement of his sales target and takes actions to correct under performance
  • Monitors market situation, including competitors' activities and recommends strategies to maintain market dominance
  • Provides reliable inputs to Marketing in the preparation of Sales Forecast

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Assistant Manager / Managers specializing in Marketing/Business Development or equivalent.
  • Must be hands-on and keen with details.
  • Must be self-motivated, analytical and result-oriented; competent in preparing business plans.
  • Must have strong leadership and excellent interpersonal skills and able to deal with people at all levels outside the organization.
  • With at least 3-5 years senior supervisor or managerial exposure to sales and marketing activities with proven ability to achieve performance target.
  • Excellent English communication skills (both oral and written) and presentation skills.
  • Willing to extend business hours and work on field assignments.
