Operations Manager  

SCOPE OF WORK:

• Supervise the administrative and operational activities of the Integrated Operations Department and Product Centers particularly the following:
  • Provide the highest level of service to Product Centers both Local and International.
  • Operations : Personnel Management and Product Center Management

OPERATIONS:

• Provide prompt and reliable reports/information/recommendations which can help the Company;
• Evaluate existing business centers’ performance;
• Evaluate Prospective Product Center Applicants;
• Analyze, formulates and implement Standard Operating Procedures on the following :
  • Pre-screening, evaluation and accreditation of Truckers, Freight Forwarders, Carriers etc.
  • Pre-screening, evaluation of new Product Center Applicants;
  • Formulate and implement solutions to existing problems, and enhancements to existing systems, procedures and policies;
  • General supervision in servicing the logistics requirements
• Securing and arranging the best method of transporting, delivery and/or shipment of product to:
  • Branches (Local and International)
  • Local Product Centers
  • International Product Centers
  • Prospective Product Centers
  • Walk-in Business Associates
• Assist/Motivate/Associate with department personnel in developing enhancements to existing systems, procedures and policies;
• Prepares accurate and timely Purchase Orders of Power Packs and other products for head office/branch and Product Centers;
• Monitors all shipments from origin to destination to ensure on time delivery and client satisfaction;
• Prepares/verifies reports from Product Center Owners and forwarders;
• Implement strict adherence to Policies and Procedures to develop good business practices that can protect the welfare of the company as well as the Product Center Owners and the regular members;

ADMINISTRATION:

• Oversee/supervise efficient and effective work performance of the department staff;
• Recommend/Coordinate enhancements/improvements/etc for logistics operational procedures and guidelines;
• Ensure that all Product Centers and Branches are provided with timely and accurate information on existing systems ,procedures and policies;
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of all reportorial requirements from department personnel;
• Assign and review the work of the department staff;
• Evaluate personnel performance;
• Perform any other tasks as instructed by the immediate superior.

• A graduate of any 4-year business course
• At least three (3) years work experience as Operations Manager and in Retail industry and marketing capacity
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Keen decision-making skills
• Strong analytical and planning skills
• Proactive, results-oriented, willing to work long hours
• Computer literate, systematic, organized
