Job Description
- Responsible for laboratory testing of water and wastewater samples
- In-charge of preparing qualitative analysis and report of the sample results
- Represents the company in all laboratory-related activities, initiatives, and programs
- Ensures efficient and effective operation and maintenance of laboratory as a revenue-generating section of FPIP Utilities, Inc. (FUI)
- Ensures high accuracy in sample preparation and analysis
- Conducts Locator’s visit (as necessary) for verification of processes affecting effluent quality and/or to witness sampling protocol by laboratory aide
- Conducts site inspection (as necessary) to validate Locator’s compliance on effluent regulation and/or permit condition stipulated on the certificate of sewer interconnection (CSI)
- Achieves customer service delight in every opportunity of interaction with guests, Locators, prospects, communities and service providers/contractors
Minimum Qualifications
- Licensed Chemist or licensed Chemical Technician
- Proficient in all laboratory techniques, grab sampling, sample preparation/preservation, and data analyses
- Proficient in Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Proficient in both oral and written communications skills
- Knowledge in ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 would be an advantage
- Must have good analytical skills
