First Philippine Industrial Park is looking for a Civil Engineer who is comfortable in splitting their hours between the office and on-site. You should be a critical thinker and have sound subject knowledge of mathematics and physics to identify and solve engineering problems. You must also possess a certain level of creativity in order to present innovative solutions and improvements to technical processes. Also, you should be able to effectively communicate ideas, make recommendations, and negotiate project details with their team, subcontractors, and clients.
What you'll be doing:
- Inspects FPIP and Subsidiaries construction project
- Ensures conformity of work requirements / technical specifications
- Evaluate change orders and request for time extension and claim of contractors
- Facilitate the conduct of tests needed for the completion of the projects (i.e. FDT, concrete mix, road alignments, etc.
- Coordinates and conduct meeting with contractors
- Acts as Project In-Charge for assigned task
- Provide in-house estimates to other department’s request
- Dedicates time and effort to ESH activities of the project
- Provide support and conforms to IMS standards and procedures
- Provides support to the Company’s overall program
Minimum Qualifications
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Licensed Civil Engineer preferred
- With at least 1-3 years experience
