Job Description
Water / Wastewater Effluent Grab Sampling / Collection
- Ensures compliance with all statutory and environmental laws, rules and regulations as applicable
- Ensures 100% grab sampling / collection of Locators’ effluent per approved sampling schedules and universally accepted procedures / protocols
- Conducts random / spot checking of Operator’s performance during grab sampling / collection
Water / Wastewater Effluent Testing / Sample Preservation / Report Preparation
- Maintains at least 95% “up-time” for all laboratory instruments, equipment and/or supplies used for testing and analysis
- Ensures 100% preservation / testing of Locators’ effluent per approved sampling schedules and universally accepted procedures / protocols
- Ensures high accuracy in sample preparation and analysis
Laboratory Activities
- Follows Standard Operating Procedures in conducting laboratory activities
- Delivers results on time and always takes into consideration lead time of analyses/holding time of samples
- Computes and reviews laboratory results
- Performs safety measures in the laboratory
- Ensures proper maintenance of laboratory equipment/ assets
Minimum Qualifications
- BS Chemistry degree graduate
- Licensed Chemist or registered Chemical Technician
- At least 1 year experience in related field
