The Liaison Officer will support the department on the following: land acquisition transactions, titling process, conversion process, Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) applications and presidential proclamation.
- Reviews all pertinent documents for properties to be acquired and communicates any issues immediately to his/her immediate superiors
- Conducts research work to validate the authenticity of the documents as well as to provide relevant facts
- Coordinates with external legal consultants all the necessary logistics, information, and documents leading to every contract signing
- Communicates with the accredited brokers/agents in matters relating to the documentation requirements for lots being acquired
- Visits Local Government Units in matters relating to the land acquisition and transfer of ownership for the lands acquired
- Ensures all files and records are updated, both soft and hard copies
- Assists in the preparation of the needed documents in securing the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) conversion
- Assists in registering new applications or expansion areas for Special Economic Zone (SEZ)
- Prepares and ensures the correctness of reports in all matters relating to the land acquisition
Minimum Qualifications
- At least one (1) year of work experience in a real estate business
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good problem-solving skills
