Job Description
- Review requisitions and developing specifications to permit competitive procurement of non-complex items
- Soliciting written and telephone quotations
- Expediting deliveries
- Seeking new sources of supply
- Assisting the buyer in maintaining procurement documents in a systematic and auditable fashion
- Assist in tabulating bids
Minimum Qualifications
- Has an extensive knowledge in operations, functions, and scope of authority of departments and officer related to handling and disposing of information and request for information
- Has a basic knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and reports
- Strong analytical and planning skills
