Job Description
Plans and coordinates the overall operations of the services department particularly but not limited to preventive maintenance. Manages daily operations, plans the utilization of materials and human resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees activities directly related to operations and in providing services.
- Directs and coordinate the activities of the department concerning with services and operations.
- Reviews performance data to measure productivity and achievement of targets to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
- Manages staff, prepares work schedules and assigns specific duties.
- Assists the VP/COO in the organization’s financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.
- Establishes and implements departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with board members, organization officials, and staff members as necessary.
- Recommends or initiate personnel actions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, discharges, or disciplinary measures.
- Evaluates the performance of staff members to gauge if they are meeting targets.
- Coordinates with clients for their services requirements.
- Visit sites from time to time for evaluation.
- Attends business meetings (managerial level).
Minimum Qualifications
- Engineering Graduate (Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics and Communications);
- Preferably Registered Engineer;
- At least (10) years working experience in the same capacity or background;
- With people handling skills;
- Exposed to client environment;
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
