Job Description

Position Summary:

Responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining business relationships with current and prospective clients and consultants; generates new business and /or projects for the Company’s products and services. Lead technical group in addressing client/consultant concerns.

Public Relations

  • Develops and strengthens rapport between company, customer and consultants.
  • Maintains and develops close and frequent contact with existing customers and clients through meetings, telephone calls and emails.
  • Looks for and visits continually potential customers to identify various client opportunities/ new business.
  • Represents the organization at trade exhibits, events, functions, leisure events, and demonstrations.
  • Provide solutions on concerns from the client to plan, direct and coordinate with the technical group.

Sales and Marketing

  • Hit sales target set for the financial year.
  • Analyzes and researches pertinent market niche, locates prospective clients for business opportunities.
  • Gathers market and customer information and provides feedback on future buying trends.
  • Participates in bidding; develops and submits comprehensive proposals based on client’s needs and requirements. Negotiates terms of agreement and close sales.
  • Prepares and present product presentation as pre-selling technique.
  • Ensures accurate cost calculation, and provide customers with competitive quotations; coordinates with clients for their service requirement.
  • Coordinates with support department heads on negotiations made on prices, delivery and specifications.

Administrative

  • Constant updating of clients’ database.
  • Reviews sales performance data, measures productivity and achievement of targets and determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
  • Reviews and approves cash flows and expense reports necessary for invoicing and ensure inclusion of attachments of proper support data to maintain accurate up to date sales pipeline.
  • Monitors available stocks, possible supply requests and inventory.
  • Monitors and report personally on-going projects to ensure compliance to agreed Service Level Agreement.
  • Assists in collection by coordinating with team to ensure expenditure are tracked and budgets monitored and managed.
  • Monitors and tracks award letters, PO’s (Purchase Order) and/or NTP’s (Notice to Proceed) and provide copies to the technical group for mobilization.

Others:

  • Generate new accounts per agreed KPI.
  • Evaluate performance of subordinates and his/her team if they are meeting targets, carry out client service requirements, quality, cost-effective service, within budget and established timeframe.
  • Ensures that supervisors are kept fully informed of on-going and potential projects.
  • Conducts personal activities like formulation of direction and strategies in accordance with professional standards.
  • Attends company and client meetings.
  • Completes administrative works, as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree in BS Electrical Engineering (Licensed Professional is a plus).
  • At least ten (10) years working experience in the same capacity or background.
