Job Description

The incumbent will be the point of contact of the business unit for all their HR-related needs and concerns.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Coordinates with Recruitment Staff all manpower needs/requests of the business unit.
  • Handles end to end recruitment process from assessment to on-boarding.

Records/Reports Preparation and Management

  • Updates and maintains records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel data such as vacancies, hires, transfers, and resignations.
  • Submits reports required by HR head from time to time.
  • Prepares documents requested by employees such as Certificate of Employment.

Training & Development

  • Coordinate with the business unit heads during the planning period regarding the identified training needs of employees.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers.
  • Monitor, evaluate, or record training activities or program effectiveness by filing certificates and updating database or 201 files.
  • Handles necessary documents and processes for employees' training/seminar registration.

Timekeeping

  • Send attendance report to employees for verification.
  • Handles overall timekeeping concerns and process of employees under the respective business unit.
  • Keeps track and prepares monthly reports of those employees who are habitually tardy and/or absent, recommendatory for disciplinary actions to the HR Head.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Coordinates with the Compensation and Benefits Staff on matters concerning comp-ben.

Performance Management:

  • Initiates employee performance evaluation by coordinating with concerned supervisors and managers.
  • Reviews, updates, renews, and/or ends employee contracts depending on the result of the performance evaluation.
  • Facilitates processing of employees' change of status and prepares summary reports of performance evaluation results.
  • Assists in the assessment of performance gaps for the scheming of training programs.

Employee Relations and Management

  • Confers and assists the business unit heads regarding employee engagement activities planning and execution to sustain and retain employees.
  • Handles AWOL employees, prepares and sends Return to Work Order and Notice of Termination.
  • Escalate cases and incidents for disciplinary actions to HR Head.

Others:

  • Prepares identification cards of new hires.
  • Handles employee separations from monitoring/assisting, routing of clearances to release of final pay and signing of quitclaim waiver.
  • Helps in the upkeep of 201 file and database.
  • Assists in the different functions and services of the Human Resources & Admin Department (HRAD).
  • Confers at all times with the HR Heads with matters relating to HRAD functions and services.
  • Attends HRAD Staff meeting from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in Psychology/Human Resource Management, or any related field of study.
  • With at least 1 year related work experience.
  • Preferably with exposure in end to end recruitment process.
  • Willing to do field works if necessary.
  • Amenable to work in Mandaluyong City.
