Job Description
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:
- Handles overall electrical related works as instructed by immediate superior and as required by clients.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct problem.
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and need for adjustment or repair, and ensure compliance with electrical/safety codes.
Minimum Qualifications
Technical Knowledge skills:
- Able to cut, thread, bend, assemble, and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fittings.
- Able to pull wire through conduits andholes in walls or floors.
- Able to install, replace, and maintain electrical systems as well as related electrical equipment.
- Able to splice, join, and connect wire to form circuits.
- Able to read and interpret electrical, mechanical drawings, specifications, and applicable codes to determine wiring layouts.
Competency Requirements:
- Ability to work at heights/high areas and towers.
- Ability to plan and organize tasks.
- Ability to distinguish colors to work with color-coded wiring.
Position Requirements:
- Candidate must have at least a high school diploma.
- With TESDA National Certificate preferably related to Electrical course and study such as: Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Building Wiring, etc.
- Must have an experience with electrical installation in residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial areas.
- Must be willing to be assigned in Various Areas/Sites (Luzon, Visayas, and Mindano).

To date, the company has supplied and commissioned more than 3,000 units of ASCO Power Transfer Switches, some packaged with FG Wilson Generator Sets, and more than 10,000 units of ASCO Transient Voltage Surge Suppressors.
FMIDC’s head office is located at FMIDC Building, 837 Maria Clara Street, Plainview, Mandaluyong City. FMIDC operates warehouse in Sucat, Parañaque for storage of our products, spare parts, and consumables.
