- Recommend, plan and implement infrastructure enhancements to maintain and/or improve Network availability
- Monitoring of critical network connections to include Domestic Leased Lines (DLL), International Private Leased Circuit (IPLC), Secure Virtual Private Networks (S/VPN) used for and by co-subsidiaries, trading partners, the Philippine Stock Exchange and company disaster recovery sites
- Configuration and management of network equipment to include but not limited to Cisco and HP routers and switches, both wired and/or wireless, IP PBX Systems, Voice logger systems, UTM/Firewalls and network monitoring tools
- Coordinate with Internet and leased circuit providers for new implementations, re-configuration and troubleshooting
- Coordinate with Vendors and Building Administration for in-house wiring and structured cabling requirements and/or concerns
- Coordinate with MBTC NCED, PSBank IT-Network Group and ePLDT DR site support on network infrastructure administration and related concerns
- Provides IT end-user support
- Complies with internal and external policies and regulations
Minimum Qualifications
- Education Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology related field.
- Experience: At least 2 to 3 years of database systems experience with MS SQL Server, CCNA, LAN/WAN etc. desktop support and trouble shooting
- Knowledge: Broad knowledge in different programming languages such as VB6, Vb.net and ASP.net; basic knowledge of a wide range of network systems, protocols and applications.
- Skills Possesses problem solving capabilities; ability to apply technical standards, principles, theories and techniques; ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel; strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Personality Works well both alone or in a team setting, resourceful, organized, diligent, analytical, team-player, goal-oriented.
