Job Description
- Keep custody of petty cash fund
- Receives client investments and deposit them to FAMi or respective mutual fund's bank accounts
- Issue provisional and official receipts
- Prepare checks upon presentation of signed vouchers, including redemption proceeds, settlements with brokers/suppliers and operational disbursements like cash advance, reimbursements, etc.
- Release checks to corresponding payees
- Extract investment data of clients from internet banking of MBTC
- Perform functions in the absence of Cashiering Officer such as; Prepare daily cash position of FAMI and the mutual funds, coordinate with Investment Division on daily trades for FAMI and the mutual funds, prepare documentation for placements, trades and settlements, i.e time deposit, application for purchase securities/IPO, letter of instructions for purchase/sale of securities, etc.,
- Ensure proper filling of documents, until turned over to Accounting
- Perform other functions assigned by the immediate superior as need arises
Minimum Qualifications
- College Graduate in Business or Finance
- At least 1 year related work experience
- Working knowledge in cashiering cash management or investment transactions
- Computer literate (especially in MS Excel), good communication and organizational skills
