Android Developer  

In this role, you will…

• Manage in Java/Kotlin.
• Manage the full technical life-cycle of Android applications during the development phase.
• Collaborate with team members and provide technical insight as needed.
• Perform individual project components within the entire development life cycle, including implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Our ideal candidate has…

• Knowledge of Java and Kotlin
• Experience working with native Android Development and with different Android OS variations (4.4 and up).
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and how to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Understanding of different security aspects (encryption, API protection, SSH, etc.)
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers, etc.
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools. Understanding of Git branching models such as Git Flow and comfortable doing code reviews.
• Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and appetite to learn.
• Able to work and deliver under pressure and within deadlines.
