We're bringing financial services in the Philippines into the 21st century

Providing financing to small businesses is critical for their growth and development. Supported by First Circle a growing business enters a virtuous cycle of growth, employment, and prosperity for their environment. Currently businesses are badly served by inefficient providers who take weeks to process applications charge crazy rates. This is what we want to change.

We're using technology to remove the inefficiencies and reduce the time from application to approval from average 30 days to one day. This is a big challenge that will require a talented team to execute. We want to build the best and most ambitious operations team in the Philippines underpinned by our account management team.

About the Company

Our multinational team of Europeans and Filipinos come from investment banking, consulting, and technology backgrounds.
We consider ourselves more "Startup" than "Financial Services Company". We have worked in both startup and corporate environments in the past and think there's a lot to be gained from introducing the best aspects of startup mentality into an industry which has been historically very corporate.
Our management team have held senior roles in a large pan-Asian startup which grew from a handful to 200+ employees. Our technology is advanced and underpinned by a high-energy account management team.
We're young and driven. The average age of our company is under 30. We are excited by coming to work and relish the challenge of getting better every day.
Great people believe in us. We raised some money in 2015 from a stellar group of investors including 500Startups Asia.

About the Role

This is an account management role. The candidate must build a relationship with the potential customer to learn about their business and determine how First Circle can best help them to grow.
This is a customer facing role. We need an ambitious candidate who wants to quickly grow a large client base always acting in the best interests of the client.
We believe in uncapped careers. An ambitious candidate will earn a high income and be afforded the opportunity to be promoted in a short space of time.

For businesses who need quick access to short term credit, their current options are limited. Existing paper-based processes to apply for a loan are long, arduous and inefficient. This is what we want to change. We're using technology to remove the inefficiencies and reduce the time from application to approval from average 30 days, to one day. This is a big challenge that will require a talented technical team to execute. We want to build the best technical team in the Philippines, and are currently on the lookout for our first engineering hire. # About The Company - We come from a variety of backgrounds. As well as our European co-founders, our team comprises several Filipinos across business development, servicing, and underwriting. - We consider ourselves more "Startup" than "Financial Services Company". We have worked in both startup and corporate environments in the past, and think there's a lot to be gained from introducing the best aspects of startup mentality into an industry which has been historically very corporate. - We know software. Our CTO was Founding Engineer and CTO at a large European startup which grew from 10 employees to 150. Software and product are in our DNA, and we believe are pivotal to our success. Software is not an afterthought to facilitate a product. It __is__ the product. - We're young and driven. The average age of our company is under 30.
