Collections Analyst  

As we scale, we require an analyst to support our Collections efforts and build on what is already an exceptional team around them. The role centres around the collection of accounts that have gone past-due on repayments and on the administration of payment rescheduling. Successful candidates will also be expected to escalate any potentially delinquent accounts and provide status reports to senior management on a weekly basis.

This is a key role and will report to the Collections Manager who reports directly to the VP Compliance.

What the work entails:

• Recording of pertinent past-due account details such as post-dated cheque numbers and the reason payment has been missed
• Conducting call-outs and scheduling/attending meetings with customers who have missed payments
• Preparing and filing key legal documents such as the Notice of Dishonour
• Assessing the legitimacy of customer repayment rescheduling requests
• Acting as a liaison with First Circle's external collections agencies
• Preparing collections status & performance reports for senior management
