Job Description
Job Summary:
The Finance Manager is mainly responsible in providing proper advice and guidance to the Company and its client companies on probable ways to improve the financial aspects of the business processes and operations primarily through different financial analysis and strategies. The Finance Manager must actively seek for applicable best practices and cost-effective methods that will meet the Company’s objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day to day operations of the Accounting and Finance Department including the services provided to the different client companies to ensure efficient operations.
- Forecast cashflow positions to ensure that sufficient cashflow is available and is ready for the daily operational cost.
- Conduct studies, reviews, and evaluations on the financial aspects of the business processes and operations of ShareVis Inc. and its client companies to be able to come-up with cost-reduction opportunities.
- Recommend possible financial improvements based on the analysis of the financial results of the Company.
- Investigate on ways to improve the profitability of the Company and its client companies to be able to address financial inefficiencies.
- Provide key business metrics, report and recommend these to the Management for them to be able to properly track and assess the status of a specific business process.
- Manage the budgets and assist all Departments and client companies on finance-related concerns and queries.
- Ensure that the Company and its clients actual financial performance is in line with the target performance by working closely with the Management on company paths and strategies that could be taken.
- Assist the management in the overall strategic direction.
- Accomplish accounting human resource objectives.
- Other relevant duties that may be assigned from time to time
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Management of Financial Institutions, Business Administration or other similar fields
- At least five (5) years experience in accounting, finance or similar field
- At least two (2) years experience in a supervisory role
- Possess working knowledge in Philippine statutory legislations and regulations
- Possess extensive understanding of financial principles
- Must be highly analytic; persuasive with details and facts
- Preferably with experience working in a start-up shared services company
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Persuasive with details and facts
- Develop and manages budget and has oversight experience
- Demonstrate high professional ethical standards in a diverse workplace
- Possess collaborative management style and comfortable working in a collaborative environment
- Excel at operating in a fast faced and diverse working environment
- Committed to get the job done
- Able to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization
- Look at situations from different points of view
- Must be willing to work in Mandaluyong City
