- Evaluates the accuracy of establishment of hirizontal and vertical controls.
- Undertakes the accurte downloading and uploading of survey pick up points from field and office data
- Undertakes the generation of accurate survey data to be used for mine planning, exploration, geology, civil construction, dam build up, off sites ans special projects as needed by the company within allowable precision and accuracy.
- Resolves reference points by data conversion and verification of map location from PRS 92 to WGS 84 with the use of conversion software.
- Organizes and orients survey teams on project objectives and survey schemes before deployment in various areas of work within the mine site
- Implements survey lay outs on Mine Plan Approved (MPA) to survey teams from mine operation, explorations, main dam build ups and special projects. Field changes from end users must be addressed for revision of MPA's
- Maintain a complete survey data base generated from field pick up points to be used on survey and mine software
- Supervises and computes periodic ore and waste volume surveys at mine yards, course ore bin (COB marginal ore yard and mill yard
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree holder in Geodetic Engineering\
- Licensed Geodetic Engineer
- At least 2 years experience in developing nationwide project
- At least 1-year experience in land titling computerization project
- Knowledgeable in GPS operation and configuratio, operation of Leica and Topcon total stations, Autocad and Land development Desktop software, basic Arcmap-GIS and MAPINFO software
