YouTube Marketing Manager  

We want a new journalist/content writer/SEO specialist to join our team & write for our brand financedistrict.co.nz, with the focus of optimizing our YouTube channel.

We're interested in the quality of content you're able to produce as well as the strategy for implementing important SEO methodologies.

To be successful in this role you're able to:

• Have an excellent understanding of the English language and proven published content writing for an - English based audience
• Be able to learn the Kiwi (New Zealander) style of story telling
• Be able to research facts/data and use data to prove a point in your content
• Optimize and research keywords related to the YouTube channel
• Apply SEO strategies on title, description, tags, cards, etc.
• Performance review on YouTube
• Follow a set workflow as you develop content within the company
• Be able to take critical feedback from your team leader on how to become a better SEO Optimizer
• Link to content within financedistrict.co.nz and to third party sources (news websites etc.) on each piece of content
• Publish on our Wordpress based CMS and YouTube
• Work well within a team
• Work we'll unsupervised and be self-motivated

We'll provide all online tools you'll need to be successful.

This is a full time, 40 hours a week position, 9am - 5pm (Manilla time) Monday to Friday.

If you are offered this position, you're expected to only work for Finance District and no other clients.

• Strong journalistic bacground
• At least 2 years experience in the media industry
• Background in working for marketing and advertising firms
• SEO-Certified (preferred, but no mandatory)
