Social Media Specialist

We are currently looking for a Social Media Specialist that will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our brand awareness through social platforms and increase engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bring to life the brand personality on social platforms and convert our brand fans into loyal customers with engaging, responsive, responsible, surprising, and captivating social media interactions
• Build communication through social platforms that attract targeted users and engage current users
• Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, best practices and technologies
• Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages existing/new users to take action
• Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
• Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
• Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Bachelor in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience as Social Media Specialist or similar role, proven by a portfolio
• Excellent writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills
• Good understanding of social media KPIs
• Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
• Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels
• Positive attitude, detail and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organisational ability
• Good written and spoken English
