Job Description
- Full Time Work from Home Career Opportunity
- Shift: 1:00 am to 10 am Monday to Friday
You will be the go-to-guy in anything related to Technical Merchant Support. You will deal with concerns ranging from diagnosing broken codes, malfunctions in the third-party services and assisting the Front-Line Support in identifying technical issues.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Educate users - Fix problems for users for the first time and educate them on how to fix similar issues in future via video
- Give feedback - Give feedback about the product constantly based on the insight gained during support work
- Keep communication - Keep daily communication with the team members
- Handle page creating / editing cases - Help customers to utilize built-in PageFly editing features
- Fix visual issues via HTML / CSS code - Help customers with light custom CSS/JS code.
- Solve Shopify theme conflicts issue
- Solve the integration issue with 3rd-party services
- Add the custom code to fix bugs
- Refine the page layout/styling and optimize the page
- Support front line team about technical issues

Minimum Qualifications
What do you need to have to succeed in this role?
- Good understanding of eCommerce and Shopify - This is important not only to understand the problem customers are facing with the product, but also to the bigger picture which is e-commerce and Shopify.
- Experience with customer support job - CS is a very specific kind of job and some people aren’t just born for it.
- Empathy - Whatever work you do, always keep customers in mind. Feel their pain & struggle.
- Patience - Dealing with lots of unhappy people can drag you down, so keep your spirit up. Stay patient with the customers and yourself.
- Self-management, multitasking skills & ability to work under pressure - You will need to deal with multiple support requests at the same time and need to provide an equal level of support for every request.
- Hardworking - This job is not going to be an easy ride.
- Advanced knowledge of HTML / CSS
- Advanced knowledge of Liquid
- Intermediate knowledge of JavaScript
- Basic knowledge of ReactJS (optional)
