IT & Business Solutions Manager  

The IT Business Solutions Head is directly responsible for planning and administration of all Research & Applications Development products and IT services specifically in the delivery of the following tasks:

• Efficiently lead all RD/ AD & IT projects in all phases from research, development, product testing and evaluation, and market preference test.
• Effectively manage and guide project teams in the execution of research and application development projects from conceptualization to deployment.
• Communicates project status, through verbal and written reports and schedules, to management.
• For R&D, it is important to lead the design and development initiative of innovative cost-wise products/systems to support both short and long term business plans.
• Conduct final design reviews and perform failure mode and effects analysis.
• Review third-party technologies and its applicability in the local setting and eventual value-added services.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of the development of products according to project specifications and deliverables.
• Provide useful reviews on new product concepts, develops design requirements and project schedules.
• Set the standard for each service and provides technical and project leadership required through the commercialization phase.
• Provide management of the pipeline initiatives for the product groups identified.
• Research trends, products, equipment, test, etc. for the purpose of recommending procedures and/or purchases.
• Understand the architecture of the systems and give specifications to the development team involved in the development process so that the systems developed are compatible with the operating system, hardware, etc.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest software and hardware technologies including updates on Microsoft and Linux operating systems and recommend technologies to the company as necessary.
• Keep all systems updated and ensure that the technologies used are synergized and integrated well into each other.
• Implement SDLC methodologies to ensure management of application development projects
• Design network infrastructure for the purpose of ensuring an effective and efficient networking system.
• Maintain network operations and software applications, (e.g. servers, file, print, application, WEB, database, etc) operating systems, server backup, routine maintenance programs, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring efficient operations.
• Effectively implement company-wide IT standards compliant with company policies and regulations
• Manage the delivery of the company’s system integration and/or development projects in line with budget, timetable and quality objectives.
• Manage and coordinate the pipeline initiatives for all project areas identified. Work closely with team leaders and team members to ensure pipeline initiatives are satisfied.
• Manage servers and network resources including network applications for the purpose of delivering services in compliance with established guidelines and/or objectives.
• Execute the matrix responsibility for core team members and support team members fairly.
• Document program flow and logic through flowcharts and algorithms for easy tracking and monitoring.
• Provide assistance in coding programs using programming languages like C, C++, Java, .Net, etc., and make necessary modifications in the databases as well.
• Administers systems and servers related to LAN/WAN (e.g. email systems, accounts, workstation ID, IP assignments, security, antivirus, spyware, etc.)
• Strictly implement data security and integrity measures in the IT, Applications Development Department including the maintenance and safeguarding of legacy data from projects (post QA) in the HQ servers and data redundancy required under the company’s contractual obligations for disaster recovery.
• Hire, train, and coach new department staff to thrive in a results-driven environment.
• Implement performance management duties in coordination with the Human Resources Department including performance appraisals, discipline, and salary review.

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science or equivalent course
• At least 12-years working experience in the related field and within similar capacity is required
